As a parent of 11 children who has called DeKalb home for eight years, I know firsthand that our town is missing something vital. We have parks, a theater, and bowling, but we don't have a place where our community can stay active, safe, and connected. I've seen how much our families and kids would benefit from a dedicated space to gather, play, and make memories together.

That's why I'm working to build Sunshine On Wheels—a skating rink designed to bring joy, activity, and togetherness to DeKalb. The funds raised will go directly toward making our rink a safe, smooth skating experience for everyone in our community and for visitors. This project is about more than just skating; it's about creating a welcoming place where kids can be kids and families can bond in a healthy, positive environment.
