Sunshine Fund after Laura’s Destruction
My name is Rosemary... I live in Avon, Ohio ( suburb of Cleveland) and I’m reaching out to my family and friends and ALL others like yourself who might be interested in “supporting a Louisiana family” that has lost much of what they own to Hurricane Laura.
A very special friend and her family have been greatly affected by Hurricane Laura as she made land fall in Lake Charles, Louisiana and ALL of southwest Louisiana just 2 days ago. My dear friend Sondra and her family, by the grace of God survived the devastation but the destruction caused by this massive hurricane (Laura) has swept through Sondras family home as well as many others leaving horrific damage including Sondra’s family home- she stayed behind with her elderly parents, (dad is 87 and her mom is 81)they built their home 45 years ago and everything they own is pretty much gone...as Laura swept it all away with 139 mph winds...
Sondra and her family aren’t asking for anything except a generator so she can cook meals for them while clearing the destruction away and basically “starting over”. I’m asking for them...any donation will certainly help them get through this disaster...a couple dollars can go far ...so please, if you would- consider donating to this great family.
Can you imagine having to start over again - especially with your elderly parents? These are good people- caring and giving... so please, let’s “adopt” this Louisiana family -let’s reach out to them and show them just how compassionate and caring we are up here in the NORTH...Let’s show them just how much
LOUISIANA LIVES MATTER...
Thank you for donating and God Bless...
Rosemary
