Hi. My name is Ben Skinner. I live in Vancouver. I am raising $ for some very special friends in Jasper Alberta Rob and Sarah Fougere whom I have known for over 15 years. Just after getting the ok to return to their home in Jasper after being displaced by wildfire, Rob and Sarah’s trailer with their 2 dogs in it was hit by a truck (August 18th). Devastatingly, Togo didn’t survive the accident, and Sunny is now in stable condition but has internal injuries, a head injury, broken elbow and needs pain meds. The vet estimate is around $5000.

Sunny is a lovely husky X - an adored rescue dog with a full coat to withstand Jasper winters and secure the backyard - but also a soft and full heart to bond with the kids. A loving and living teddy bear, after you succeed at earning her trust.

The Jasper fire follows a horrible bike accident and loss of employment. Another unexpected blow compounds the struggle as he tries to get back to work again. These events have been and continue to be extremely hard on the family both emotionally and financially. Please consider donating toward this specific goal for the vets bill. Any amount will help and be greatly appreciated!
