Hello, my name is Sundance — owner of Chicago’s 1st T-Shirt Truck, radio personality, and DJ.

My journey in the entertainment industry has been incredible, but it began in one of the darkest moments of my life.

Before my career took off, I was homeless for ten months. I lost everything — every possession, every piece of security, and everything that once represented me. I felt lower than an ant’s belly. The hardest part wasn’t the loss itself, but not having something as simple as an address.

I had no parents or family to turn to, just me and my child — unsure if hope would ever find us again. But God always knows what He’s doing.

At the shelter that took me in, Tabitha’s House, I met a counselor who changed my life. She gave me the tools to rebuild my confidence and reshape my thinking when I believed I had nothing left. I made her a promise that when I got back on my feet, I would give back — and I’ve kept that promise for 27 years by donating to those in need.

This year, I’m asking for your help to reach a goal of $1,000 to purchase new socks for young girls living at transitional living facilities and the mission in Chicago.

Many people don’t realize how something as simple as a pair of socks can make a world of difference. I do — because I’ve lived it. That experience humbled me and shaped me into the woman I am today.

As winter approaches in Chicago, a warm pair of socks can mean comfort, protection, and dignity for our homeless brothers and sisters. I’m asking you to consider giving a love offering of just $5.00 to help make this possible.
