Dear Friends of Sun Camp,

We are eagerly awaiting Sun Camp 2025, and looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces on the field. In the meantime, we are organizing a volunteer work weekend at Dechen Chöling to do preliminary maintenance and ensure the land is ready for camp.

From May 2nd to May 4th, a crew of 10 volunteers will gather to complete essential tasks such as setting up new tarps, preparing the kitchen, building infrastructure, and tending to the land.

However, in order to make this happen, we are going to need your help. While Sun Camp 2024 was a vibrant and magical experience, it didn’t generate enough supplementary funds to provide for the costs of a maintenance trip such as this one.

This is why we are asking for €1,800 to cover transportation, food, and accommodation for our volunteers. The cost breakdown is highlighted below, and any additional funds we receive will be reinvested into camp and camp maintenance.

Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to our goal, and we gladly accept whatever amount you may be able to give at this time.
