Want to join us in making a difference? We're raising money to benefit Team Reece Children's Brain Tumour and Cancer Charity, and any donations will help make an impact.

Reece Holt was a student at our school, Lancaster Royal Grammar School, who was diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrocytoma, an extremely rare malignant tumour. Reece raised over £9500 for Alder Hey Children's Hospital and £750 for Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and registered his own charity to raise enough money to buy a static caravan to be used for family holidays for others affected with Anaplastic Astrocytoma, with the long-term vision of finding a cure. Unfortunately, Reece passed away in 2019, but his legacy lives on, and we hope to raise funds to help support the charity and Reece’s mission.

We, Koby Hunter and Harry Huddleston, are two Sixth Form students at the same school that Reece Holt attended, and we are summitting Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom, on the 19th of August to raise funds for Team Reece.

Team Reece continues one thirteen year old cancer warrior's legacy to bring smiles to other children with cancer by providing a holiday home for respite to families affected by childhood cancer. Funding research into cancers in children in particular high grade brain tumours which are under researched and have low survival rates, in some cases terminal at diagnosis. Raising awareness of childhood cancers and providing educational support to children and general support to the families.
