Summerfields Stands United

Just like you, we have all been left shocked and saddened by the events that have happened within Summerfields Gymnastics Club this past week.

Not only have these events seriously impacted Emma, Shalee and all the coaches at SGC, but also the 400 children who attend gymnastics sessions every week.

But team SGC are strong…and while dealing with events completely out of their control, have shown incredible strength, determination and dedication. Not just to the gym, but to every single one of their gymnasts.

It’s now our turn to show as much dedication to them.

So on Monday 21st April 2025, we will be holding a sponsored walk. This is in order to help with any financial costs they may encounter due to the changes unknowingly made within the gym.

We (a group of gymnasts /parents/ grandparents /friends and probably a dog or two!) will be walking 8.8 miles ~ from Hastings Old Town to McDonalds, Bexhill and back and we would absolutely love for you to join us!

If you would like to walk with us, make a donation, or just cheer us on, we will be setting off from Winkle Island at approx 10am. We really would love to see as many of you there as possible. Everyone is welcome….the more the merrier!

Summerfields Gymnastics Club has been part of our town for 44 years and it’s more than just a gym.

So let's show our club how much they mean. Not only to us, but to the whole of our beautiful hometown.
