Jaye was diagnosed with autism in December of 2023. He had just passed the cutoff point for early intervention. He has had occupational therapy, speech therapy, and ABA therapy. The program that we joined has 6-month breaks and then a waitlist to have him reenlist for his therapies.

Fortunately, I was able to find a summer camp (Harbor Haven) that offers all of his therapies throughout the day, swim classes, and social conditioning. Unfortunately, the camp cost is $9,000 for the 7-week summer program. I really think this program will help him progress and become more acclimated to social settings and prepare for kindergarten in September. I just cannot afford $9,000 for camp. I want to give my son everything that I can to make sure he is prepared to live an independent and successful life. This camp is the first step in helping him develop.
