Summer of Solidarity by Feminist Fiction Liverpool

Hi, my name is Sara and I host the book club Feminist Fiction Liverpool.

Feminist Fiction Liverpool is a trans inclusive book club who meet in Liverpool City Centre at least once a month to discuss a variety of books. We are passionate about giving back to our wider community and do this through community charity events.

As you may know, trans people are facing a lot of hardship at the moment, and we want to do our bit to support the community and we hope by raising money on the day, we'll make a small difference.

This year, our fundraiser is in aid of Gyro , a local charity in Liverpool that facilitates award-winning LGBTQ+ youth groups for children and young people aged 11 - 25 who may be exploring their sexuality and/or gender identity.

GYRO has existed in some form since 1976 making it one of the oldest LGBTQ+ youth provisions in the country. They do incredible work, and we’re so proud to support them in any way that we can.

On 5th July 2025, we're hosting a summer fête, where we'll have a variety of stalls such as bric-a-brac, book sale (obviously!), a crystal and tarot stand and some games all in the aid of raising money to help our local community.
