NEW Summer Camp Session for Trans Youth!

Camp Ten Trees is the Pacific Northwest’s only residential Summer Camp for LGBTQ+ youth and youth of LGBTQ+ families, serving campers from around the U.S. and beyond for 18 years! Every year our camper waitlists get longer and the time has come - we’re ready to GROW!!
For the first time ever in the summer of 2019, we’ll be creating a third session of Summer Camp - this one specifically serving transgender, non-binary, and other gender-expansive youth, ages 8-17. This will be the FIRST EVER sleep-away camp session offered specifically for trans and non-binary youth in the whole Pacific Northwest region!
This new program will be a revolutionary opportunity for trans and non-binary youth to connect and thrive and will ensure that more youth than ever will be able to experience the magic of Camp Ten Trees. This is where you come in! In order to offer this new program, we need to raise $19,000 - for our 19th year of camp in 2019!
Reaching this goal will allow us to cover the cost of extra site rental and buses for our NEW third session of camp. Everything we raise beyond our $19,000 goal will be used to cover other costs of this new camp session, including camper financial aid, camp activity supplies, food, and more. It takes a lot to run a Summer Camp, and we couldn’t do it without your support!
Camp Ten Trees is a non-profit organization, funded primarily by individual and group contributions and grants. We offer sliding scale tuition for all of our camp programs, and financial aid for any camper in need. Since our beginning, we have never turned a camper away for financial reasons! This new session of camp will be no different; all of our programs will always remain accessible to low income youth and families.
Our dream for this new session is to provide a loving, engaging, and supportive community experience for trans and non-binary youth. This will be a space where they can create and foster friendships, have fun, safely express themselves, see possibility models in our adult staff members, feel empowered, and make memories that last a lifetime.
