Suffern 9/11 Memorial
Donation protected
Eagle Scout Project Description
Today outside of Suffern Village Hall, between the Village Hall Driveway and the Lafayette Theatre driveway there is an existing 9/11 Memorial. It is simple and spare with two paved areas, two signs, a piece of the World Trade Center and a tiny tree. The village has attempted to spruce it up with small flower pots but most people don't know it's even there.
Worse, many people just walk over it without so much as a second thought when walking from parking lot to parking lot. This memorial to Suffern's fallen first responders deserves a lot more attention and respect.
So the Village of Suffern asked the county boy scout district to put the word out to an eagle scout candidate to come and renovate this memorial.
This is my Eagle Scout project - to renovate and beautify this 9/11 Memorial by 9/11/2018. To do this I need your help!
