On the 9th of May 2025, our beloved friend and colleague, Glenda, passed away unexpectedly. Her sudden loss has left an incredible void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Glenda leaves behind her husband, David, and their beautiful teenage twins, Laura and Joshua. She was a deeply loving and proud mother, always celebrating her children’s achievements and cherishing every moment with them. She will be deeply missed by her family who relied on her every day

Glenda was known for her kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. She had an incredible ability to make people feel seen and supported, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her humility and genuine care for others were the essence of who she was.

She was a dedicated member of Orange Evangelical Church, where she was a valued part of the community. Her presence, encouragement, and faith left a lasting impression on her church family, who mourn her deeply.

Professionally, Glenda worked as a peer worker. She was a strong advocate for those living with mental illness, offering hope and compassion to those she worked with. She believed in the power of leisure and connection in recovery and was over halfway through her studies to become a diversional therapist. Glenda’s dedication, warmth, and integrity made her a vital member of her team.

This fundraiser has been created to support Glenda’s family during this incredibly difficult time. All donations will go directly to her husband and children, helping to cover funeral costs and provide some financial relief for day-to-day living expenses as they begin to navigate life without her.
