My name is Lori, and I reach out with a heavy heart. I've lived in the home for 50 years, my whole life. I grew up here with my parents and eventually raising my children here also. My father was unfortunately diagnosed with dementia so, to help my mother we began to care for him as well. This takes us to 2019, what started as a normal Valentine’s Day ended up being a life changer. My father fell in our kitchen landing on his head. He was immediately taken to the hospital where due to an undiscovered brain bleed he suffered a traumatic brain injury. Some evil people’s  response to my mother was to tell her to immediately sell the house and put my father in a nursing home, something my father never wanted. So my husband and myself stepped up and got my father home with the help of hospice care for him until he passed away peacefully at home on Memorial day of 2019. The evil people never came to visit him once during that time even so far as to go on vacation the weekend he passed away. This began a turn of my mother’s feelings towards the evil people . My mother made me her POA stating she no longer trusted anyone else . Life started to return to normal , my mother continued to work part time for about the next 9 months until her ability to walk began to decline. My mother retired from work and stayed home with my husband and children around to support and assist her. Yet again during this time the evil people’s absence was noted and my mom was hurt and angry. In January of 2021 my mother decided to amend her will to leave the property to me. Several months later my mother passed away , again at home with hospice care surrounded by myself, husband and 2 children. A good example as to the kind of evil people I was dealing with , I paid for the entire funeral myself. So come to present times , the will was contested which cost a total of 95,000$ over a total of almost 5 long years of litigation in which the legal system failed me, due to a typo failure in the system I was ordered to pay a very large amount of money within 90 days to be able to keep my home. If not it will be sold out for under me leaving me no where to go.

This house means everything to me. It's where I'd took my first steps, where my parents taught me everything I know and love, and now It's where I live with my family, my husband and two children. It's the only home my kids have ever known, and losing this would mean losing the last piece of my parents, and it would leave my family without a place to live.
