The Student's Union are raising money for Blood Cancer UK to support one of our Public Services students and Activities & Welfare Officer Eduard Cristea. Here is Eduard's story: My name is Eduard Cristea, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve carried the weight of a battle most can’t even imagine. As a child, I fought Leukemia. It was a fight I could not have won alone. But thanks to the unwavering care, dedication, and expertise of the doctors and nurses at San Matteo Hospital in Pavia, Italy, I am here today, 11 years free from Leukemia.

A couple of months ago, I embarked on a journey to raise awareness and funds for Blood Cancer UK. I walked 8 miles and, with the incredible generosity of others, raised £250. That success fuelled my belief in the power of unity and the difference we can make together. But now, I’m taking my journey even further.
