Steps for Studenteer...
Studenteer connects students and recent graduates to charities, good causes and mentors for remote, volunteer placements. Originally created in partnership with Furlonteer, we are run by students, for students. We understand the need for worthwhile, valuable work experience and the difficulties many are facing due to COVID-19, and so, we match proactive and enthusiastic students or recent graduates with these remote opportunities with causes that need this help more than ever. Whether its business, marketing, finance or graphic design, we find volunteer roles to match any degree or skill set.
We are currently run completely by students and recent graduates who volunteer their time to make sure Studenteer can help as many people possible. We are a registered not-for-profit, and want to ensure our entire service remains completely free, forever.
With this in mind, we are growing at an exponential rate, and need to scale to ensure this is sustainable, and that we can continue providing free resources and volunteering experience to students for years to come.
All 35 of our internal volunteers will be walking a marathon (26 miles) each in 1 week to try and raise enough funds to cover our software for 3 years. Without this software, Studenteer wouldn't be able to grow as it has done and needs to.
