She Walks Alone is a student produced short film directed and written by Sean Green, following a young girl going through a haunting exploration of identity memory, and the quiet burden of carrying pieces of a life that no longer feel entirely your own. Our small crew is made up of Marlo Brown, Janiya Woodruff, Gabriel Nelson, Savannah Weisbrush, and Danielle Capece, all students of the University of New Haven. With such a small group of filmmakers, we are working hard to turn “She Walks Alone” into a real cinematic story that captures the soul of those who watch it, but we cannot do it alone. From securing locations, actors and equipment, to production design, every step requires resources that are out of our reach financially. This film is not just a passion-project, but also an opportunity for us to learn with hands-on experience, challenge ourselves creatively, and produce meaningful work that reflects our passion and dedication for this film.
Any contribution directly supports the production of “She Walks Alone” and helps us take this project from script to the screen. Thank you for your support and believing in the work that young filmmakers can create!
