Union workers at Stucki Ave. Starbucks in Hillsboro, OR are rallying funds for strike pay assistance and emergency mutual aid funding. Help our workers hold the line!
Workers at our store voted unanimously to join SBWU on 3/17/2023. Since then, our location has participated in collective and direct actions to demonstrate our power and push to have our demands met. Our actions have included strikes, info picketing and canvassing, walk outs, and marches on the boss. As we progress in collective bargaining it’s become clear to the workers at Stucki that a strike is looming.
Please help us reach our goal and support our workers in holding the line while we ensure the best contract possible for our union workers.
what is collective bargaining?— union workers with Starbucks Workers United (SBWU) and Starbucks are coming together to negotiate a contract that outlines the terms of employment for these workers. We are fighting for things like: higher wages, better staffing and scheduling practices, expanded dress code, expanded health insurance (including access to gender affirming care), a better time and attendance policy, and better health and safety practices.
