Well, I never thought I’d ever be in this situation, but here I am. I’m a 49 year old, single father needing fast assistance with moving expenses that have come up suddenly and no warning.
I moved into a home under the pretense that I’d have peace and time to recover from quite a few other massive life changes, only to find out that the person I’m renting from hasn’t paid the mortgage in over 16 months. He is now moving into assisted living and leaving me to “figure it out”.
I was on disability leave for 5 months, trying to recover from nerve damage that prevented me from being able to commute to, or even do, my job and only making 60% of my pay that only afforded me enough to pay the rent. I need help. I don’t have the money to move to a new home and have no other options than to try this. I can’t take out another loan and can’t borrow money from friends or family.
Anything will help, and even if you can’t, I appreciate you reading my story.
