Hi My names Kayla, I'm a nurse from

wolverhampton in the west midlands! In December 2023, Myself, Husband & Mum together with my nursing colleagues and friends, put together a food kitchen in which we were able to provide hot food and drinks, food parcels and small christmas gifts for children, for those who were struggling over christmas! We managed to raise £1800 in around 7 weeks, by my husband running 100 miles!

We saw around 100 people come through on the day, and were very overwhelmed, speaking and listening to people and their stories. This year we want to do the same again but make it bigger, better and able to help as many people as possible!

Nobody should be struggling to put food on the table especially around christmas time, so with your help, we're hoping to offer hot food and drinks, food parcels, small Christmas gifts for children and safe place to offload.

My husband will also be running the Birmingham Half Marathon later in the year to help towards the cause, but if you are able to give no matter how big or small we would be so grateful!
