As the mother of Lamonica P. (33 yr old) I just would ask that everyone please keep La Monica in your prayers. This has truly been a roller coaster for her. It’s so crazy how life can change in the blink of an eye.

Being away from her children has been the hardest part. Along this journey, she has some good days, immediately followed by bad days. Unfortunately more bad than good right now.

Just imagine, one day you’re excited to start a new job, and the next you’re being told to head to the ER because you can’t catch your breath and feel extreme fatigue. That visit has now turned into over two months in the hospital, with diagnosis after diagnosis of several chronic illnesses. It has taken a toll on her physically, mentally, and emotionally.

She doesn’t qualify for unemployment as she has informed them she just started new job and wound up in hospital so cannot seek employment. They froze her payments.

In the meantime, she still has rent, daycare for her 2 yr old twins ,utilities, an 11 year old daughter and her own medical needs to worry about.

I’ve been doing the best I can up until now, and I truly appreciate everyone who has reached out with help, advice, prayers, or just encouraging words. Please continue to lift her up in prayer. Praying for healing and that she can enter remission, regain a sense of normalcy, and be reunited with her children who she misses they also miss her dearly. She was a very active mom snd now its painful to even hold her children.

To be diagnosed with over 9 chronic diseases and 2 collapsed discs on her back all at the same timeseems unreal. If her level occur does not change soon, it will be looking to transport her to a fourth hospital, which will cause more stress because it will be further away from her children
