January 21, 2025, marked the joyous arrival of our newest family member, my nephew Everett Paul Beese! With both mom and baby boy thriving, big brother Kaysen finally met the little one he’d been eagerly communicating with for nine months. It was a moment of pure bliss for Kevin and Amanda, welcoming their precious child after experiencing profound loss. However, just a day later, they faced an unexpected challenge as Everett struggled with breathing, leading to his transfer to UVM NICU for intensive care. This unforeseen turn is every parent's worst nightmare, filled with uncertainty. While the financial implications of a new baby can be anticipated, nothing could have prepared Kevin and Amanda for this. They are now navigating this tough time away from home and Kaysen. It is in moments like these that the strength of a community is invaluable. Let’s rally together to support them and alleviate some of the burdens, allowing them to focus on bringing Everett home where he belongs.
