Help us celebrate the power of girls!

Im Diana Sanchez, a Colombian American who moved back to Colombia a few years back. and as some of you know I have done a few go fund me to support kids communities that are the most in need in Cali, Colombia. this time I will like to help Semillas de Mujer (Seeds of a woman) a program of the Bibliotec Foundation that for more than eight years has supported girls and adolescents in vulnerable situations, strengthening their personal, social, and community capacities. Through safe spaces and transformative experiences, which promotes the development of technical and socio-emotional skills, as self-management, self-awareness, relationship skills, social awareness, and responsible decision-making.

During this time, more than 2,000 girls have been part of Semillas de Mujer, participating in clubs, creative workshops, training processes, and community leadership activities.

Every year, in conjunction with the International Day of the Girl Child, it organizes a very special event for more than 150 girls. It is an unforgettable day, designed to make them feel celebrated, heard, and valued. It includes recreational activities, workshops, spaces to connect with nature, meetings with other girls, and a collective experience of joy, empowerment, and caring.

This year we want to make it even more beautiful.

But to achieve this, we need your help.

Your contribution will go entirely to cover the event costs: transportation, refreshments, materials, activities, and logistics. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to our goal of making this day a powerful celebration for them.

¡Ayúdanos a celebrar el poder de las niñas!

Semillas de Mujer es un programa de la Fundación Bibliotec que desde hace más de 8 años acompaña a niñas y adolescentes en contextos de vulnerabilidad, fortaleciendo sus capacidades personales, sociales y comunitarias. A través de espacios seguros y experiencias transformadoras, promovemos el desarrollo de competencias técnicas y socioemocionales, como la autogestión, el autoconocimiento, las habilidades de relacionamiento, la consciencia social y la toma de decisiones responsables.

Durante este tiempo, más de 2.000 niñas han hecho parte de Semillas de Mujer, participando en clubes, talleres creativos, procesos de formación y actividades de liderazgo comunitario.

Cada año, en el marco del Día Internacional de la Niña, organizamos un evento muy especial para más de 150 niñas. Es una jornada inolvidable, pensada para que se sientan celebradas, escuchadas y valoradas. Incluye actividades lúdicas, talleres, espacios de conexión con la naturaleza, encuentros con otras niñas y una experiencia colectiva de alegría, empoderamiento y cuidado.

Este año queremos hacerlo aún más bonito.

Pero para lograrlo, necesitamos tu ayuda.

Tu aporte será destinado íntegramente a cubrir los costos del evento: transporte, refrigerios, materiales, actividades y logística. Cada donación, por pequeña que sea, nos acerca al objetivo de hacer de este día una celebración poderosa para ellas.
