Alexis Watterson, my wife, had a devastating stroke almost 7 years ago. I have watched her work to recover every day since. If you know her, you have seen her approach this fight with endless energy, a positive attitude and tenacious work ethic.

I want to honor that struggle. The 2019 8 Bridges (NYOWSA) swim in the Hudson River has one stage that passes by Croton on Hudson, Alexis' hometown. I hope to try to complete that 19.8 mile swim and help raise stroke awareness.
