After welcoming my grandson into the
world on 4/19/2022 weighing 6lbs. 10 oz. we discovered that he had a rare condition called Right Hypoplastic Heart Syndrome/ Pulmonary Artesia which is a birth defect that affects the valve that controls the blood going from the heart to the lungs. My daughter has been unable to go see her son and comfort him on a regular basis, due the incurred expenses with travel, lodging, and food expenses. He was born in Syracuse, then transferred to Rochester, then again transferred to NYC, by a private jet. Niko is now at a hospital in Manhattan, the New York Presbyterian Children’s hospital. A procedure is scheduled this week to allow the hole in his heart to enlarge to allow better blood flow throughout his body and lungs. This procedure will hopefully keep him stable until he receives a heart transplant. Please help us on our journey as we are dealing with much stress and sadness. Please donate, send prayers, while my grandson is fighting for his life. We all thank you in advance for all your support and love for Niko as we continue this life long journey with his condition.
