Northside Home Care workers have been forced into sustained strike action in their fight for basic fairness. They are withdrawing their labour in a sustained ongoing dispute to achieve pay parity with their colleagues across the sector and full recognition of their status as Section 39 workers.

These are frontline care workers who support some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. They are asking for equal treatment, not special treatment.

This fundraiser will support them as they continue their ongoing strike action, helping to ease the financial pressure that comes with standing up for their rights. Solidarity is not a slogan. It’s practical.
