Strengthen Ties: Help YOP Families Reunite

We are raising money to bring members of the VSP Youth Offender Program together with their families for food, games, and the meaningful connection that has been proven to enhance rehabilitation and reduce recidivism.

This funds will be used for the Youth Offender Program Father’s Day event:

YOP FATHER’S DAY BBQ

THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR YOPs

On Friday, June 20, 2025, the Youth Offender Program (YOP) will be hosting a special YOP Father’s Day Barbeque from 0900-1430 Hrs. on the Main Yard. As a YOP, you will be able to invite your father or the father figure in your life (approved visitors only), or your child/children accompanied by one approved visitor. All normal visiting rules and regulations apply to this event. The first 100 eligible YOPs that meet all of the criteria will be able to participate. THIS EVENT IS FOR CURRENT DISCIPLINARY-FREE YOPs ONLY.

Program Will Include:

o Freedom Canine Program Dogs will be present for you and your family to interact with and take pictures with.

▪ Visiting photo ducats will be needed (i.e., same visiting photo purchase process will be in place).

o Circle T Ranch Horses for you and your family to interact with and take pictures with.

▪ Visiting photo ducats will be needed (i.e., same visiting photo purchase process will be in place).

o Mini-Basketball

o Corn Hole

o Music

o Coffee and Muffins for breakfast

o BBQ Lunch

▪ Hamburgers and Hot Dogs

▪ Potato & Macaroni Salads; and Chips

▪ Cookies and Cake
