Strength, Hope, and Healing for Maddie

Dear friends and family,

We are reaching out to share the news about our dear niece, Maddie, who has been in the hospital for the past two weeks right after celebrating her 18th birthday.

Her unexpected immense pain has led her to be hospitalized, where a team of dedicated healthcare professionals are working tirelessly to determine the cause and provide the best care possible. It has been a roller coaster and every time we think we she gets better, something else seems to pop up. Maddie has experienced kidney stones and kidney failure and currently is dealing with brain swelling, high blood pressure and hourly fainting episodes. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly challenging time for Maddie, Jonell, Lonny, Illi and our families.

The uncertainty surrounding her diagnosis has only heightened the emotional strain on all of us. Medical tests, treatments, fainting and consultations have become a daily routine, and the financial burden is beginning to take its toll. Lonny and Jonell haven't left her side and haven't been to work in 2 weeks. Despite the incredible strength and courage the family has shown, we recognize that they cannot face this alone.

That's why we're reaching out to for support. Your contributions will go directly towards Maddie's medical expenses, including her continued stay at Rainbow Babies and Children's hospital, physical therapy, occupational therapy, medications, additional tests, treatments, and any unforeseen costs that may arise during her journey to recovery.

We believe in the strength that emerges when we come together to support a loved one in need. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is immensely appreciated and will make a significant difference in Maddie's fight to getting a diagnosis and towards the road of recovery.
