My name is Tammie. I am starting this fundraiser to help my grandson and his family during their time of great need.

My grandson DJ was struck by a pickup while riding his motorcycle. He sustained multiple fractures in both arms, both legs (the worst being one open fracture and a femur fracture), hips, and back. He also sustained other non-threatening injuries.

He is a very strong-willed young man who will require many months of recovery. DJ is a hard worker and dedicated to his wife and two young children. Both he and his wife have lost days of work, struggling for childcare and much traveling between the hospital and home.
