StreetLight Cottage Remodel

It is very hard to imagine a world where young girls aged 11-17 years old are bought, sold and sexually exploited but this is exactly what is happening in many cities across the U.S. StreetLight USA provides healing and hope for these young girls in crisis.

Velocity Retail Group has committed to a lofty but achievable goal. A goal that allows our clients, associates, and partners to participate in changing the lives of these young girls.

The goal is to renovate a cottage on the campus where five girls can have a basic-needs home with a kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and living area; creating an atmosphere where the girls can feel safe and learn life skills while they recover from trauma. The needs for the cottage involve furnishings, security systems, kitchen appliances, cookware, equipment for the academic area including desks and desktop computers as well as construction work to renovate the bathrooms and flooring – to name a few.

A donation of any amount is helpful as it will be directed specifically to the cottage rehab and allows StreetLight USA to help even more girls.
