Please join us in making a difference for the girls of Streetlight USA!

Streetlight USA is an organization that provides trauma-informed 24/7 care designed for young girls ages 13-17 who are suffering trauma due to sexual exploitation, abuse and trafficking. Streetlight USA provides advanced services through Lighted Path, their group home with an in-house academic program and The Sanctuary, their specialized behavioral health residential program. The organization inspires hope in young girls as they transition from Trauma to Triumph and envisions a world where survivors of child sex trafficking have an opportunity to dream again and live a life free of exploitation.

We are a group of motivated women, and this cause has become very close to our hearts. As mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends, we cannot begin to imagine the pain this has caused in these young girls lives. Especially realizing the astonishing fact that 98% of all girls rescued through Streetlight USA are from right here in AZ.

We are remodeling a cottage that will house 5 girls. The scope of work includes upgrades to all 5 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Living and Dining Room, Kitchen, Music Room as well as, an Office space for the Counselor. The cottage will need new plumbing, cabinetry, tile, lighting and a significant amount of furniture. We believe it’s important to cultivate a safe space that feels like a fresh start. With your help we can give these young women optimism for a brighter future.

It is very hard to imagine a world where young girls aged 11-17 years old are bought, sold and sexually exploited but this is exactly what is happening in many cities across the U.S. StreetLight USA provides healing and hope for these young girls in crisis.

Velocity Retail Group has committed to a lofty but achievable goal. A goal that allows our clients, associates, and partners to participate in changing the lives of these young girls.

The goal is to renovate a cottage on the campus where five girls can have a basic-needs home with a kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and living area; creating an atmosphere where the girls can feel safe and learn life skills while they recover from trauma. The needs for the cottage involve furnishings, security systems, kitchen appliances, cookware, equipment for the academic area including desks and desktop computers as well as construction work to renovate the bathrooms and flooring – to name a few.

A donation of any amount is helpful as it will be directed specifically to the cottage rehab and allows StreetLight USA to help even more girls.
