Street Outreach Yellowknife NEEDS OUR HELP (V.2)

Version 2** of this fundraiser. Yellowknife, we are not like many other places. Coming together as a community when it counts is what we're good at! Let's do this.

Some of you know me, many of you may not. That doesn't matter, because, if you live in YK, you likely DO know of the Yellowknife Street Outreach volunteers.

You've seen them helping others; these people provide an incredibly valuable service for our community, but here's the thing: they are working with a vehicle that is not well-functioning. It's "on its last legs", as you may have seen in their posts, and because of that, they've had to stop those much needed services at times of peak need.

As a community, we can give our support to them to help those most in need among us, and right now, that means helping the Street Outreach to acquire a vehicle that they can rely on.

ALL FUNDS go directly from GoFundMe to the Yellowknife Street Outreach via the Yellowknife Women's Society, which runs the program. Your support is going exactly where it needs to go.

If sufficient funds are not raised for a new(er) vehicle, the Street Outreach will still receive all funds, which will be allotted to their essential operations as needed.

**A second version of this fundraiser needed to be created for direct-deposit right from GoFundMe to the Yellowknife Women's Centre; the CRA Registered Charity (CRA No. 812867752RR0001) which runs the Outreach.

Tax receipts are provided by PayPal Giving Fund Canada (PPGF Canada).

The original GoFundMe is shut down, and all funds automatically returned to those who donated (this platform does not allow changing/converting to a Charity fundraiser, once created.)
