Stowlawn Primary School after vandals caused damage
Donation protected
On Friday 4th July, mindless vandals caused tens of thousands of pounds of damage at Stowlawn and Green Park schools during a violent rampage.
Intruders caused major criminal damage when they broke in. External and internal doors, fire doors, toilets and interactive whiteboards were smashed, while iPads and ICT equipment were destroyed, and fire extinguishers were discharged. A mobile swimming pool was also damaged and changing rooms ransacked, and attempts were made to start fires inside the building.
Our community has found this deeply upsetting. These schools are more than just buildings—they are places of learning, growth, and community. To see it disrespected like this is painful.
This fundraiser is being set up to show the students, teachers, and staff that we support them. Acts of destruction will never overpower the spirit of education and unity that lives within those walls.
The money raised from this fundraiser will be used to replace PE equipment that was burned, and IT equipment that was damaged.
Even if it’s just a few pounds, we hope you can donate to show those who aim to divide our community that there is power in unity.
