Stouffville District Secondary School Shoebox Drive
We are a team of students from Stouffville District Secondary School raising funds in support of the Shoebox Project. The Shoebox Project collects and distributes gift-filled Shoeboxes to women impacted by homelessness across North America.
Shoeboxes are filled with essential items and small luxuries such as toiletries, socks, skincare, and encouraging notes. Shoeboxes provide more than just necessities, they provide compassion, dignity, and self worth.
Homelessness is a growing crisis in Canada that deeply affects women. In fact 36% of homelessness in Canada are women-identifying. Many face poverty, gender-based violence, and limited access to safe housing.
We aim to make a difference in our community by raising funds to support the Shoebox Project and help women feel supported.
Thank you for helping us support those who need it most!
