Storm Damage on Holy Island - art studio rescue

Donation protected
This part of the studio is going to be a writing area, and a place for soul friendship to happen.

Creativity has always been a big part of life on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, starting with the Lindisfarne Gospels, which is a combination of writing and art. Creatives over the years have also had to deal with the weather conditions of living on an island on the edge of the North Sea. The storms, the wind, the wet and the waves all contribute to the atmosphere of the place, but also the challenges.

My art studio was first a writing desk for Ray Simpson, and now an art studio, a place of prayer and a writing desk for me, as a venture into writing.

However, the recent storms have damaged this old garden studio, which is over twenty years old. It may now need to be completely replaced, and certainly it needs serious repairs. I would really appreciate your support to either fully repair or replace this sanctuary space, for now and future inhabitants on the island.

Thanks
