A local developer is proposing to build a large apartment complex in New Rochelle's Historic District. The development plan calls for a five to six to story structure with over 110 apartments units, and over 110 parking spots. If the project is approved, it will add hundreds of new residents and much more traffic through Rochelle Park and Rochelle Heights. A building of that size threatens to change the very fabric of our neighborhood.
40 homeowners from Rochelle Heights and Rochelle Park have formed an informal opposition group, called the HDA (Historic District Alliance). Our mantra is StopTheBuild2023 and we'd like you to join us!
We plan to mount a legal challenge but we NEED TO RAISE MONEY for the Land Use Attorney we're planning to retain. We need your help!!
Approval of this project could set a troubling precedent, allowing more commercial development, thus threatening our status as a recognized historic district.
Please donate what you can...and make your donation ASAP.
If you’d like to know more about the project and have an interest in joining the opposition, please contact us at

There's a lot at stake! Please Donate $$ and Share The Link.
Thanks for your time and attention.
