Stop the Warehouses in Northwestern Lehigh County

Donation protected
The “Northwestern Lehigh Residents for Smart Growth” group is made up of residents from Northwestern Lehigh County (Townships of Lowhill, Weisenberg, Lynn and Heidelberg) plus the residents of the surrounding communities also affected by the three proposed warehouses along Route 100 and Kernsville Road in Lowhill Township (Townships of Upper Macungie, North Whitehall, Washington, etc.). All residents, business owners and those working in and commuting to the local businesses surrounding Route 100 need to join the fight against these warehouses.

These new warehouses WILL affect you! From the developers’ own traffic studies, there will be an additional 1,300 daily vehicle trips on our roadways due to these three warehouses. Those numbers are based on just one shift per day … they could operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We need your help!
We have retained the services of attorneys and experts specializing in zoning and land use.

Where will your donation go?
This GoFundMe is to help pay expenses to continue the fight.
They include:
• legal expenses
• experts’ fees (engineers, traffic experts, skilled evaluators of the developers’ plans, warehousing experts, etc.)
• Advertising (yard signs, flyers, newspaper ads and insertions, digital ads on apps and social media, software platforms for emailing and texting information to the residents, etc.)
• Website development and maintenance

Many concerned citizens have already contributed funds to erect the “No Warehouses” yard signs you see along Route 100, Kernsville and Claussville Roads. This same group has also created and funded a flyer which was distributed via the Northwestern Press and informational handouts at the township meetings.

More funds are needed to spread the word to more residents.

Join us, before it’s too late!

What is your reason for fighting?
1. DECLINE IN OUR PROPERTY VALUES
2. DECLINE IN OUR RURAL WAY OF LIFE
3. SAFETY (accidents with trucks are often deadly)
4. TRAFFIC CONGESTION (tractor-trailers on rural roads and inadequate intersections will cause gridlock)
5. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT (air, water, light and noise pollution 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)

1) Please DONATE / SHARE / REPEAT
... and thank you in advance for your generous support.

2) Please COME TO THE TOWNSHIP MEETINGS!

It is CRUCIAL that the residents attend ALL township meetings. The large crowds have been the most influential force behind our township representatives voting “NO to the warehouses!" All meetings are listed on the Lowhill Township website: https://www.lowhilltwp.org
