Stop the Leaks. Help Protect The Kontinuum Community Hub
We built The Kontinuum from the ground up.
We took an old garage and poured thousands of pounds, hours, and pure graft into turning it into something Minehead needed... a warm community hub where people can walk in, feel inspired by art, do something with their hands, and reconnect face-to-face.
This isn’t a clinic and it isn’t a crisis service. It’s the place people come before they reach that point especially if they’ve been stuck at home, feeling isolated, anxious, or just disconnected.
Since opening, we’ve already seen what this space does: people who’ve been stuck at home start showing up again, confidence comes back, skills get learned and shared, and rural isolation feels a little less heavy. It’s a place where you can be around others without pressure and that simple thing can change someone’s whole week.
We’re also building relationships with local services (including NHS and DWP pathways) to complement existing support giving people a practical, creative place to rebuild confidence and routine while they wait for formal help.
And then the roof started leaking.
It’s one of those things that can undo a lot of hard work if we don’t fix it properly. To repair the roof and protect the space we’ve built for the community, we need to raise £4,500.
