Stop the Gymnasium Project now!

My name is Paul Zeman, and I have tolerated the PLPOA's retaliatory, arbitrary, and capricious policy-making and code enforcement until the recent developments to utilize the association as a taxing authority to circumvent governmental due process to build a gymnasium that will be paid for, maintained and insured by the members but utilized by the masses.

I am raising money to retain legal counsel to seek an injunction delaying the vote for the gymnasium financing. This has been a completely nontransparent cash grab and needs to at the very least be discussed and analyzed by every member of the PLPOA in an open forum, which is not limited to 100 out of roughly 6800 members.

This board is seeking to raise millions of dollars, yet did not have the foresight to expand their meeting capacity, hence disenfranchising thousands of association members from comment or questions at the supposed "open meeting" on January 8th. This is a blatant disregard for due process and leads me to suspect misconduct by the board and PLPOA employees, which needs to be investigated before we fork over millions of dollars.

The simple fact that the PLPOA is the 2nd largest HOA in the state, yet is located in the 34th least populous county, is mind-boggling at best!

Unfortunately, I have no doubt that the PLPOA board will spend our funds to push their agenda forward, so we now need to raise additional funds to protect our own investments from the very people who are suppose to be the fiduciaries of our community.

All funds that are not utilized for legal expenses will be returned to the donor on a pro-rata basis.

Please help me take on this behemoth before they further squander our community capital.
