Developers have proposed two 40-storey towers — almost three times the height of Niagara Falls — on Oakmount Road and Mountview Avenue. To make way, 11 cherished homes would be demolished.
While Toronto needs housing, it must be responsible and sustainable. These towers threaten our trees, schools, and infrastructure — and will cast long shadows over High Park North.
We’re raising funds to hire legal and planning experts to formally oppose this project and propose realistic, community-friendly alternatives like mid-rise housing and six-plexes.
Funds will cover:
Legal representation and planning reports
Environmental and traffic assessments
Community outreach and materials
Together, we can ensure growth that respects our neighbourhood’s character and ecosystem.
Help us protect High Park North — donate, share, and join the movement.
