Howdy! Thought it might be a great idea to support a great cause right now. So here we are! On November 26 2001, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes, and now have a VERY COOL insulin pump I keep on me. In 2017 I joined the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Young Friends board and through this organization I have gotten to see firsthand, what a massive impact the contributions have on kids that find themselves in Children's Hospital. Moreover, I can tell you from personal experience what an impact people like yourselves have on the kids who find themselves at Children’s because I have been that kid. I was diagnosed with diabetes at Children’s Hospital in 2001, and I can tell you from my own experiences that the money raised made my life more bearable during that scary period of transition. It truly made a world of difference to me. You may not think an extra copy of Captain Underpants, a BopIT! or a Playstation 2 can make a huge difference, but I promise you it does. Little things make a big difference. I know for me, one of the toughest things to do during my stay at Children’s Hospital was to remember that, hey I am 6 years old, I can have some fun and that this disease does not control me- I control it. There is no way I could have to come to that realization without the support from people like you. Helping kids feel like kids during their stay at Children’s is the goal here and I think that is a very achievable goal. With that being said, I have a goal to raise $8,000 during the month of November and plan on giving 100% of whatever I raise to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Anything helps, and I can tell you from personal experience, it is greatly appreciated. Please go to the GoFundMe link in my Bio or Venmo me, @Max-Rowe. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your support!!
