Sticks Together Project

I am excited to share that I will be taking my first 'Sticks Together' humanitarian trip to Recoleta, Argentina from May 16-June 6, 2022. Through the IVHQ Sport Development program, I will work with children to teach them the fundamentals of sports and health. In many low-income communities in Buenos Aires, kids miss out on the opportunity to play sports in school with their peers due to the lack of qualified physical education teachers and insufficient funding. As a part of the 'Sticks Together' initiative, I will bring recycled hockey sticks and other street hockey equipment to the children to teach the game through the after school care program.

 

Growing up, sports brought me so much happiness. It was an escape from everyday life and filled my childhood with countless, incredible memories. I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to give back and to bring that same joy to young children in Buenos Aires!

 

All proceeds will go toward furthering my mission!
