As many of you know, I’ve signed up to run my very first marathon for St Mary’s. On 20th September 2026, I’ll be taking on the Yabba Dabba Doo Marathon at Chasewater Country Park in Staffordshire.
I’m not just doing this for the challenge—I’m running for something that means a great deal to me, and I know to many of you too: the future of St Mary’s.
St Mary’s has been such an important place in my life. It’s where we gather week by week, support one another, and serve our community. But as we all know, our building and grounds now need significant investment if they’re going to continue to serve our parish well into the future.
I'm raising money to support our capital works project—to protect and develop our church building. We want to paint the outside of the church tower to help care for our building, so it can better reflect the lively vibrant congregation inside and enhance the neighbourhood.
Our church community and hub supports a wide range of activities—from children and youth groups to our weekly foodbank and CAP debt centre, which is a vital lifeline for many. In 2024 alone, over 2,300 people benefited from services connected to St Mary’s.
I’m raising money to benefit St. Mary's Church, and any donation you can make will help make an impact. Thank you for supporting me—and for helping to secure the future of St Mary’s.
