The much anticipated haircuts are approaching...
Tyler last cut his hair in January of 2020.
Steven last cut (shaved) his hair in April of 2018.
Since these dates, Steven and Tyler have been growing out their hair with the plan to shave and donate their locks to the Children with Hair Loss program, which creates and provides wigs for children facing medically-related hair loss. On April 30, they will complete their mission and shave their heads. Not only do they wish to give their hair, but also raise money for breast cancer research.
This is a long-standing tradition on the Notre Dame ultimate frisbee team, with both male and female team members. In addition to Steven and Tyler, several teammates plan to shave their heads in solidarity and raise awareness.
A donation to this cause shows support for their long hair growth journeys (even when they didn't look too pleasant). In addition to donating the hair, 100% of the monetary donations on this page will be going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, who aims to provide help to women affected by breast cancer through early detection, education, and support services. They are one of the highest rated and recognized breast cancer charities in the world.
Like many people, Steven and Tyler have personal relationships with those directly affected by breast cancer. Any support, financial or not, would be greatly appreciated.
