Steventon Archive Videos

On the 250 year anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, Steventon is hosting a series of events to commemorate her life.

I thought it would be a wonderful idea to create a series of video records titled the Steventon Archives, largely focusing on the special events we are running this year, but also much loved regular village festivities. Aiming to capture the spirit of Steventon and what it’s like to live here in modern times. Perhaps future generations can watch these in another 250 years!

These videos will be made available to anyone living in the village who would like them. Additionally the goal is to host a screening of the full set of videos in the village in the near future.

Any contribution towards the production costs of this project would be gratefully received. Thank you!

Any funds left over at the end of the project will be donated to St Michael’s Hospice.
