Hello everyone,
first and foremost I want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to review what will impact our youth and community directly. Christ has put it upon my heart to use my gift, to help others through running, but this is also something I can't do on my own. With your efforts, we have the opportunity to put new athletic shoes on 500 kids in 2020 to help improve the youth's self esteem here in Michigan.
Growing up, new gym shoes always served as a highlight to the beginning of a promising school year, I walked with confidence, smirked as I laced my kicks walking through the hallway before the bell rang, and at the end of the day taking an old toothbrush and removing scuffs on my shoes to preserve the longevity and durability. Yes, I grew up in a middle class house hold who could keep me feeling good about my appearance, but this isn't the case for all kids.
I explicitly remember kids being bullied, ignored, and denied friendships because of the clothes and shoes they didn't posses. so lets come together and make a difference in our community through a small donation. We all been kids before, and we all been bullied and experienced moments of weakness. But look at us now, loved by Christ, and stronger than ever.

All proceeds raised will go to "2020 May Day Shoe Run for Mental Health" Mental Health Statistics provided by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
The Miami Half Marathon that I will be competing in on February 9, 2020 will be approximately a 13.1 mile run, so I am asking 382 of my family, friends, and peers, to donate 13.10 representing
382 donations at 13.10 will bring us just over 5000.00!
