Steve was a victim in the Las Vegas shooting. He was there with friends celebrating his 44th birthday.
Leaving 3 kids ages 15, 11 and 8.
Steve was a larger then life person. He was tall, good looking, intelligent, and gregarious with a wicked sense of humor and an infectious laugh. I have never met anyone that controlled a room better then Steve. His clients loved him and his colleagues all wanted to hang with him. His friends couldnt get enough of him. If you were his friend you are going to miss his big bearhugs! He was the epitome of larger then life. Work hard play hard.
The best and greatest thing about Steve was what a wonderful father he was to his three kids, His ex wife had a severe stroke 3 years ago. This had left Steve as the primary caregiver and only earner in the family. He had gone through hell and came out of it like an unbelievable champion. I was in awe at what this man had accomplished. The kids were his life! He always made sure he was at all sporting events and activities, made sure the kids went to at all their activities, made sure they did their homework each night and made sure he was home to love them.
I was so blessed to have a good friend and colleague that I respected and loved. "Steve was one of the Good guys."
To say he will be missed is an absolute understatement.
