Steve & Molly's return to Annunciation House

As many of you know, we travelled to El Paso to help asylum seekers who were being released by the Border Patrol into the care of the Annunciation House, where they stayed in shelters and were cared for and connected with family and sponsors here in the States.
Now that the Biden administration is slowly releasing those who have been waiting on the Mexican side of the border back into the US and reuniting them with family here, the Annunciation House has once again asked for our assistance
in sheltering them for a few days and helping them on their way North. Since we speak Spanish, have experience in the process, and have had both of our vaccinations, we can be of help immediately .
We are planning to be there from mid-April to mid-May, and would like help both in travel and living expenses while there, as well as money to spend on necessities for these people in need, We found that during our last stay there that there were many things lacking, from food to clothing to travel bags that ran low or were not available on any given day, and this money would be used to fill in the gaps where needed.
We see this as a way to make up for the mistreatment suffered since the previous administration closed the border. Perhaps you could use a part of your stimulus check for this purpose. We realize that this is a difficult time for all of us given the economy, but hope you feel as we do, that we must reach out to those less fortunate in their time of need.
