To the friends and family supporting Steve:

Steve experienced a brain aneurysm that ruptured Thursday Night and he is currently in the ICU. Unfortunately, the road to recovery will be quite long as he will be in the hospital for several months. Vicky, Blake, Bre, and family have been by his side day and night. But this a significantly emotional and financially taxing event. Several in a row in fact- the guy just can’t seem to catch a break lately.

So many words come to mind when trying to describe Steve: Husband, Father, Son, Friend, Racer, Loving, Dedicated, Selfless, Hard Working and Endlessly Helpful are just a few. Steve has always been the first person to jump in and help others when and where ever he can. He is one of the most selfless and caring people I know and I’m sure many of you have had the same experience. If Steve has ever lent you a hand, he and his family could really use some help back right now.

Thank you for all the love you have shown with food, prayer, texts, phone calls, postings, etc. It has been an amazing outpouring of support and a tribute to the impact Steve and family have had on all of us. The journey ahead will be long and challenging, but your consistent presence and love can make all the difference in his recovery.
