Steve Bassignani's Hard Drive

Hello Hopedale (and Surrounding Towns) Parents. As you may know, Steve Bassignani had a hard drive crash earlier this summer. I don't need to explain how much Steve has done to provide us all with a virtual timeline of photos capturing amazing moments in our lives.  The drive is is holding many thousands of images of our children and families.

We tried some low cost and non-invasive ways of recovering the data, but as it turns out, the mechanics are broken and it is very complex to recover.  I am going ahead with a vendor to attempt to recover the data.  The vendor has evaluated the drive and has quoted $2400 for the repair and recovery of data.  In addition to the cost of repair, we bought Steve a new External Storage drive which can hold double what he currently has stored and is automatically backed up on a redudundant drive at all times.  The product link is below.

In total we will have spent a little over $3000 to recover the existing photos and get him setup with a proper local archive.  We are looking for your help to recover most of the costs ($2750), that being said whatever help you can provide is much appreciated and we are just happy to make sure Steve keeps snapping photos and recording our memories.
