Hi I'm Rachel Ste's partner, as many of you know Ste was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma cancer in July 2022, after undergoing chemo and radiotherapy we were told in April 2023 that Ste had around 6 months left to live. We were devastated but didn't give up hope, a short time after the dreadful news he was fortunately funded a trial drug through the Christie's hospital in Manchester, and later underwent a stem cell transplant, this was a last resort but thankfully a SUCCESS!!

On Ste's 50th birthday this year whilst on holiday in Dubai, he will complete the worlds longest urban zip line 170 meters high and 1 km long. Clatterbridge cancer centre were amazing throughout Ste's cancer journey, and if it weren't for them he wouldn't be here celebrating his 50th birthday today. Therefore as a family we feel we want to give something back, which is why we've decided to raise money to support an organisation that is so close to many of our hearts.
